Addvalue Communications and Inmarsat have combined to bring the newest and most advanced maritime satellite communications technology, FleetBroadband, to small and mid-sized commercial marine, fishing and leisure vessels at price and service levels never before available to this market.
The Skipper 150 is based on the widely used Inmarsat satellite technology and makes it easy to talk, send/receive SMS, access e-mail or browse the internet. With data speeds up to 150 Kbps you can receive full color weather images, navigation charts, or maintenance information. You can talk simultaneously while sending reports, regulatory information, requisitions, or browsing the internet. The Skipper 150 also includes a GPS receiver and can output NMEA 0183 formatted messages to
provide accurate location information to onboard systems.
