    Iridium Prepaid Airtime 500 Minutes300 minutes of prepaid Iridium airtime for your Iridium satellite phone or terminal. This card offers 12–month validity from activation date. Minutes cannot be added or extended with this plan and are forfeited upon expiration. Unused Minutes do not carry over on Reload.

    Do I Need A New SIM Card?

    In order for this airtime to work with your satellite phone, an Iridium Prepaid Worldwide SIM Card issued by GMN is required. If you already have Iridium prepaid worldwide airtime and a GMN SIM card – great! You can use this voucher with your current card. Simply include your satellite phone number or SIM card number in the space provided in the “add product” area.

    First time buying Iridium satellite phone airtime? Good news! We’ll waive the price of the SIM card when you purchase airtime at the same time.

    Top-Ups, Rollover, and Validity Period

    This card DOES NOT allow top-ups. Any remaining minutes still on the card will NOT roll over.

    When Does My Validity Period Start?

    The validity period for your airtime starts when you request activation of your airtime, and the activation goes through, not when you purchase the airtime. We ship SIM cards unactivated for security purposes, so you do need to request activation of your airtime in order to start using it.

    How Long Does Activation Take?

    Typically, activation takes only a matter of a couple of hours (or less), but sometimes there are delays in Iridium’s system and activation can take up to 48 hours. Just to be on the safe side, we recommend requesting activation 48 hours prior to when you will actually need the airtime, just in case there are some delays in the system.

    How Can I Add More Minutes To My Airtime or Extend My Validity Period?

    The Iridium Prepaid Worldwide Airtime: 300-Minutes with 12-Month Validity plan must be reloaded and you cannot extend the validity of the plan.

    If My Minutes Expire and I Need More Airtime, Do I Need a New SIM Card?

    If you reach the end of your validity period, you will lose your minutes. You will have a 270-day grace period, however, where you can add more minutes to your SIM card without needing a new SIM card. If, however, it’s been more than 270 days since the end of your validity period, we will need to send you a new SIM card.
