Pactor III Firmware Upgrade
PACTOR-III is a software upgrade for existing PACTOR-II modems that provides a new data transmission mode for improved speed and robustness. Most current PACTOR-II modems are upgradeable to use PACTOR-III via a software update since PACTOR-II firmware accommodates the new PACTOR-III software. Both the transmitting and receiving stations must support PACTOR-III for end-to-end communications using this mode.
To upgrade your Pactor II, Pro, or IIe to Pactor III and improve your e-mail performance by a factor of 10 follow these steps:
- Download and install the software from the SCS web site
(free download)
- Enter your serial number in the box at right.
- Purchase the registration by clicking order now.
Once we have your registration order and your serial number, will take care of the rest. Simply download the firmware, purchase the license and you are off to the races. Pactor III will run for 20 connects and then stop working unless the product is registered.
