FREE GRIB Files from GMN Marine Weather Services

GMN GRIB CoverageGlobal Marine Networks (GMN), the leader in marine weather services, now offers 7 day wind forecasts of the world as a free public service via its GRIB Mail Robot. These forecasts are generated daily at 0015, 0615, 1215, 1815 GMT for every region of the world. GRIB forecasts are based on the National Weather Service, NOAA, Wave Watch III model yielding highly accurate forecasts every 6 hours for up to 7 days into the future. All GRIB forecasts are available via download or delivered by e-mail and optimized specifically for low bandwidth wireless connections.

The GRIB files provided here are derived from the NOAA MMAB Operational Wave Model (wwave3) which is considered to be the best model available for computer generated ocean surface weather forecasts. The user assumes any and all risk associated with the use of these GRIB files.

You must have a way to view these GRIB files. We recommend GRIB Explorer for viewing GRIB files.

Please note: there is no free technical support provided for Free GRIB files.
